Home‑Based Businesses – Texas HB 2464
Texas House Bill 2464 protects and supports no‑impact home‑based businesses. Cities must allow residents to operate a home‑based business as long as it does not create noise, traffic, signage, or other impacts that change the residential character of the neighborhood.
This law supports cottage food operators, online sellers, makers, consultants, and other small businesses starting from home.
