Morgan’s Point Resort is moving forward with a new community pavilion at John Ansay Park, creating a welcoming, shaded space for gatherings, celebrations, and small‑scale vendor activity. The pavilion will support everything from family events to pop‑up markets, helping bring more life and connection to the park.
The EDC has committed up to $80,000 to support the project, with the City leading construction and long‑term management. The pavilion will be fully ADA‑accessible and designed to connect seamlessly with the City’s Phase 1 improvements, including the new playscape, ADA parking, and accessible sidewalk network.
Once complete, the pavilion will offer a flexible, activation‑ready space that enhances community events and supports local economic activity — all while improving everyday enjoyment of the park.
